PDFWay Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
PDFWay does not collect personal information, create user accounts, run advertising, or use analytics or tracking SDKs.
We do not collect your PDFs, images, filenames, passwords, payment card details, email address, Apple ID, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.
Document and Image Processing
PDFs and images selected in PDFWay are processed on your device. The app may create temporary working files while performing actions such as merge, split, rotate, delete pages, reverse pages, compression, encryption, and image-to-PDF conversion.
Recent PDF outputs may be copied into PDFWay-managed local storage so they can appear in the Files tab. These copies remain on your device and can be removed from PDFWay by using the app's remove or clear recent files actions.
Local Network Use
PDFWay uses a local-only HTTP server at 127.0.0.1 to let native app components communicate with bundled PDF processing resources inside the app. This local transport is not a remote upload service.
Photos and Files Access
When you choose images or PDFs, access is initiated by you through iOS system pickers. PDFWay does not request broad photo library read access.
If you save an image or output to Photos, PDFWay requests add-only photo library permission. The current permission purpose is: "PDFWay needs permission to save converted images to your photo library."
When you save or share PDFs, iOS presents system interfaces that you control.
Passwords and Encrypted PDFs
Passwords entered for PDF encryption or encrypted PDF preview are used only for that local operation. PDFWay does not persist, log, or transmit PDF passwords.
Temporary decrypted preview data, when needed, is used only to display the preview and is not registered in recent files or exposed through save/share actions.
Purchases
PDFWay Pro Lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. PDFWay does not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase entitlement status is checked through Apple's StoreKit system and is not sent to a developer server.
Network Activity
PDFWay does not upload documents for processing and does not include analytics, advertising, telemetry, or crash-reporting services. The app may contact Apple's systems for App Store purchases, restore purchases, and normal operating system services.
Children's Privacy
PDFWay is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PDFWay changes. The updated page will show a new Last Updated date.
