Hosting and access logs
The website is hosted on Tencent Cloud in Silicon Valley, United States (region na-siliconvalley). Nginx access and error logs support site operation and troubleshooting. The configured combined access log includes the connecting IP address, request time, method and URL (which may include query parameters), status, response size, referring page and browser user-agent.
Nginx is configured for daily rotation with 14 historical log files plus the active file; empty logs are not rotated. This is a file-rotation limit, not a guarantee that every entry is deleted after exactly 14 days. The new WordPress container logs the request path without query parameters or cookies; its Docker logs rotate at 5 MB per file with two files retained. These logs can still include IP addresses and operational errors.
Accounts, cookies and contact
WordPress stores administrator account details and login/session data for site administration. Administrator login uses cookies. The new website does not offer public registration, comments, payment checkout or a support upload form. Ordinary product browsing does not require an account.
Email links open your chosen email application. If you contact the Yahoo support address, the email and attachments are handled through the email services used by you and the operator. This website does not send email or provide an email password-reset service in this release.
Older pages and external services
The new website templates do not include analytics code. A historical Google Analytics-related script file remains among retained legacy assets. The inventoried legacy HTML does not reference that file, and the new templates do not load it. This notice makes no claim about unverified processing by legacy services. App Store links and other external links take you to services with their own data handling practices.
Backups and access
Private backups contain the website database, media and configuration and can include administrator data and secrets. Copies are stored outside public website directories and downloaded to an access-restricted backups folder on the operator’s Mac. The current retention instruction for these new backups is 30 days; scheduled expiry has not yet been enabled. Existing recovery baselines are managed separately.
